Grand Master’s vision of quality instruction has required a systematic teaching program that will develop the necessary skills within a person to qualify them to become a AFKA Certified Chief Instructor. You have to be more than just a senior student to be certified as an instructor. All Instructors must complete an extensive training program which includes special camps and clinics designed to develop them as they complete 300 hours minimum apprentice teaching time.
Just as you have an instructor, your instructor also has a senior instructor. It’s almost like a family tree. Your instructor must give the same courtesy and respect to the person who trained him/her as is expected of you. Respecting seniors follows a chain of command that extends all the way up to the Grand Master himself.
